Main Features
  • Floating or Fixed - No Pop-up Window
    * IOHelp dialog floats over existing web page. Visitors can move around the dialog or close it. You can customize the dialog to fit your page: style, color, height, initial position, etc.;
    * IOHelp icon can also be fixed in existing web page, you can choose a design from our gallery or upload your own images;
    * Each web page can have different customization;
    * Each web page can specify a different list of operators;

  • Multiple Stages and Remote Control
    IOHelp visitor dialog has various stages to suit visitor's need. Visitor can change stage, operator can remotely change visitor's stage.
    * Hidden: Dialog is hidden, but operator can remotely make it appear;
    * Icon: Visitor sees an icon. Visitor can click to change to small stage;
    * Small: Visitor sees a small dialog. Visitor can move the dialog around. Support operator's live video and chat. Visitor can change to medium or icon stage;
    * Medium: Visitor sees a medium dialog centered on page. Visitor can still move the dialog around. Support two-way video, chat, file transfer, feedback and other functions;
    * Big: Visitor dialog covers most of page. This stage is automatically used when sharing documents or co-browsing;
    * Popup: Visitor dialog is in a separate browser window.
  • Chat
    Complete set of chat functions:
    * Operator and visitor can change font color, font size and font style;
    * Operator's greeting supports animation;
    * Operator can view the message while visitor is still typing;
    * Operator can select from canned responses;
    * Support emoticons;
    * Operator can view complete chat history of the visitor;
    * Operator and visitor can download chat history;
    * Support auto response when operator is away.
  • Chat Search and Download
    * Both operator and admin can search chat history by date, city and keyword;
    * Both operator and admin can also download chat history.
  • Visitor List
    Shows detailed information about visitors:
    * Display visitor's current location: country and city;
    * Display search engine and keyword, if exists;
    * Display the time when visitor comes to the web site;
    * Display visitor's page views, current viewing URL and visited URLs;
    * Display visitor's operating system, browser, language, and Flash version;
    * Display visitor's chat history with all operators;
    * Display visitor's contact information saved previously;
    * Display visitor's audio and video status. Operator can turn on and off visitor's audio and video;
    * Display visitor's stage. Operator can change visitor's stage and dialog's position;
    * Operator can transfer a visitor to another operator;
    * Visitor Idle Detection: When a visitor is idle for a while (the time can be set by admin), the visitor is removed from visitor list so that operator can chat with another visitor. When the removed visitor chats again, the visitor will be put back to visitor list. Operator can also manually idle a visitor;
    * Operator can expel a visitor.
  • Operator List
    You can specify which operators to support a web page.
    * At any time, each operator is in one of four status: available, away, busy or offline;
    * Visitor can select an operator from the list.
  • Two-way Video
    Operator and visitor can video chat (if Flash is installed):
    * Both operator and visitors can pause and resume video;
    * When operator's video is not available, operator's photo is shown and the photo supports animated GIF.
  • Two-way Audio (VOIP)
    Operator can start audio conference (if Flash is installed):
    * Visitor is not allowed to hear or talk initially;
    * Operator can allow or deny any visitor to hear or talk;
    * Every participant can mute/unmute self.
  • Two-way Document Share with Annotation
    Both operator and visitor can share documents.
    * The types of document we currently support are: Microsoft Office (2000-2010) Power Point (.ppt, .pptx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx) and Word (.doc and .docx), Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), text (.txt), images (.jpg, .gif, .png);
    * Operator controls the document viewing for all participants;
    * Operator can use a laser pointer on the presentation;
    * Operator can annotate (line and text) on the presentation;
    * With the permission of the operator, visitors can also annotate;
    * All participants can zoom on the shared document;
    * Operator can share multiple documents at the same time;
    * Support readiness on each page: operator knows how many participants have downloaded the page;
    * Support rotation: operator can rotate all pages of a document clockwisely or counter-clockwisely.
  • Two-way File Transfer
    Both operator and visitor can transfer any files to another.
  • Two-way Screen Capture
    * Both operator and visitor can capture whole or part of the screen and share as an image;
    * Both operator and visitor can annotate on the image using lines and text;
    * The person who shares out screen must be on Windows.
  • Two-way Desktop Sharing with Remote Control
    * Operator can share desktop with visitor, and the visitor can use mouse and keyboard to remotely control operator's desktop;
    * Operator can also request visitor to share desktop, and use mouse and keyboard to remotely control visitor's desktop;
    * Both operator and visitor must be on Windows.
  • Two-way Whiteboard Share
    Operator can share multiple whiteboards with visitors. Everyone can write text and draw on it, and save the whiteboard as an image (PNG) file.
  • Co-browsing
    Either operator or visitor can start sharing a web page. Both will view the web page together and if operator clicks on a link on the page, both will follow the link to the new page.
  • Visitor Feedback
    Visitor can provide feedback of the operator by submitting a score and a message. Admin can check scores and messages of each operator.
  • Internationalization
    * Visitors and operator can switch display language at anytime: English, Chinese or Japanese;
    * Visitors and operator can use different display language;
    * Visitors and operator can use any language (not just the display languages that we support) to chat or annotate a document;
    * Visitors and operator can share documents written in any language (not just the UI languages that we support);
    * Support all 24 time zones;
    * Visitor location supports cities around the world.
  • Operator Console
    * IM-like GUI, so it won't take lots of desktop space constantly;
    * Support alert for incoming visitors and chat messages;
    * Support Windows, Mac, Linux and other Adobe Air supported systems.

  • Supervisor
    * A supervisor can view live chat between any operator and visitor, can also participate in the chat. This is useful for monitoring and coaching;
    * Admin can set any operator as supervisor. Multiple supervisors can chat with a single visitor, resulting an N-to-1 chat.
  • Member ID and Name
    If a visitor is already logged in your site's membership system, you can pass visitor's member ID and visitor's name to IOHelp:
    * IOHelp will track visitors using member ID instead of browser. Therefore when visitor logs in using another browser or another Internet device, both operator and visitor can see the chat history of the member;
    * If a new visitor name is passed, IOHelp will update visitor's name in the system.
  • Reseller Features
    IOHelp resellers have the following features:
